Terms of Service
Effective date: 21 September 2026.
1. Provider
These Terms are an agreement between you and KOHA-TECH Sp. z o.o., Nowy Świat 33/13, 00-029 Warszawa, Poland (KRS 0001183713, NIP 5253054129, REGON 542256381), operating the game and website Buffs & Crafts. Contact: [email protected].
By using the website or the game, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Mandatory consumer-protection law still applies.
2. The game
Buffs & Crafts is a single-player forging and adventure game. Battles play automatically while you forge, equip, sell, and choose buffs. You may install the web app from play.buffsandcrafts.com on Android Chrome or Windows. The game opens in that installed app. An Android development build is shared privately for testing. The iOS version is available on the App Store. Features may change during development.
The iOS version, when distributed through the App Store, is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement in addition to these Terms.
3. Waiting list
Joining the waiting list on buffsandcrafts.com is optional and free. It is not a purchase, a pre-order, or a guarantee of App Store, Google Play, or launch-day availability. Installing the web app at play.buffsandcrafts.com does not require joining. By submitting your email and ticking the consent box, you ask KOHA-TECH to email you about the Buffs & Crafts store launch and game updates, and then to nominate you for early access. You must be 16 or older, or a parent or guardian joining for a child. You can leave the list by emailing [email protected]. The web app remains a separate product under these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
4. Progress and saves
Progress and your hero’s nickname are stored on your device. In the installed web app they stay in IndexedDB on play.buffsandcrafts.com. There is no KOHA-TECH account and no studio-operated cloud save. In-game backups remain in the app’s local storage. Clearing site data, uninstalling the app, or losing the device can lose both progress and those backups.
5. Purchases and virtual items
The web shop sells optional items through Stripe using these product identifiers: buffs.artisan.monthly ($4.99 / month), buffs.artisan.yearly ($29.99 / year, with a 7-day trial), buffs.ore_pack ($1.99, 120 ore), and buffs.gem_pack ($2.99, 250 gems). Artisan's Blessing is a subscription that expands capacity (16 buff slots, 160 bag spaces, 3 saved builds, optional skill refresh). It does not change forge odds or the item pool. Restore Purchases on the web looks up Artisan's Blessing by the email on your Stripe receipt. Ore and gem packs are not restored.
Stripe processes the payment. Refunds for web purchases follow Stripe’s and our applicable legal obligations. Virtual items have no real-world cash value outside the game. Desktop and Android development builds may still show labeled mock shop screens that are not an offer to sell. The iOS version, when distributed through the App Store, will use Apple In-App Purchase and Apple’s restore and refund rules instead of Stripe.
6. Acceptable use
You may not cheat in a way that attacks our systems (there is no online gameplay service today), scrape this website abusively, misrepresent official App Store status, or use our marks to imply a partnership we have not agreed in writing.
7. Intellectual property
KOHA-TECH Sp. z o.o. owns the Buffs & Crafts name, characters, lore, UI, and original artwork. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to play the app as permitted by these Terms and, for the iOS version distributed through the App Store, Apple’s terms. Fan art for non-commercial personal use is welcome; do not sell the game’s assets or imply official status.
Some marketing artwork and video may be AI-assisted. That is a transparency note under EU AI Act Art. 50 where it applies; it does not change gameplay data practices.
8. Disclaimer
The game and website are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted service or that every random forge result is an upgrade. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Polish or other mandatory law, including consumer rights.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence. Consumers may use the courts required by those rules. Professional users: courts competent for our registered seat in Warsaw.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this URL. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance, except where law requires otherwise.
